The Art

Methods
Each image is brought forth by starting out in the field hunting, searching, discovering, and taking
numerous digital images with various camera equipment. Most often my camera of choice has been a Sony NEX7. The small body size is crucial to being able to "harvest" images from tight and difficult locations. Sometimes placing the camera through a fence opening, or through rock crevices, where a larger camera body would leave such images behind. The NEX7's large sensor, (24.3 megapixel), is great to capture a RAW image to bring to the editing monitor, where the image is prepared for large renditions without compromising image quality. By working with the photo lab technicians directly, I am able to maintain creative control. Only archival inks and canvasses are utilized. Quality framing materials, full backing and ready to hang. Usually, over 100 images are taken to produce 1 art piece.
